It occurred to me today to wonder why I hadnapos;t gotten my little voter card thingy, so I checked online. And I am registered, but the address is wrong. A lot wrong. The only thing right is the street number. Wrong street, wrong city, wrong zip code. Which kind of leads me to believe that the person who fucked up? Not me.

While the whereabouts of Fernando Alonso for 2009 is not set in stone, speculation about the Spaniardapos;s future is likely to remain rife.

Although the former champion is expected to stay at Renault next year, Honda is making no secret that it is keeping a seat open for him.

The 27-year-old, meanwhile, often says his real preference is Ferrari, the famous Italian team that has vowed to stick with Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa.

But until Alonso makes an official announcement some time after the Brazilian Grand Prix, the rumours are set to persist.

The latest speculation is in the Spanish newspaper AS, which says Alonso and Raikkonen could be the subject of a seat swap for 2009.

"I really believe that with whatever team I will be with next season that I will be able to fight for the championship," Alonso said in China.

The rumours were perhaps sparked by the interview given last weekend to La Gazzetta dello Sport by Flavio Briatore, who emphasised Renaultapos;s relationship with Ferrari.

"It is logical that I support Ferrari, as an Italian, as Flavio Briatore, as Renault, for the relationship we have with Ferrari," he said.

Well, I actually managed to have something resembling a nightapos;s sleep Fuck me That was unexpected. Not unwelcome, but unexpected.

I am feeling dangerously hyper now, though...I got up at seven in order to dye my hair again...I am trying to get it back to my natural colour, but I didnapos;t leave the dye in long enough last time, and the bleached blonde had made� a triumphant return to the surface.

My natural colour is rather pretty, actually; I can see enough of the roots now to see it properly. Itapos;s sort of honey-blonde, with a strawberry tint.
Anyway...then I was up, dancing round the kitchen to Kosheen (well, the tracks Cruelty and Gone, anyway, if youapos;ve not heard them, do have a listen, they are ace,) and emptying the dishwasher whilst talking loudly to myself. I forgot to post about my starbucks experience I went to the one that is really slow and gets stuff wrong since it was on my way out. There was a really annoying girl in there. First she was asking how much fat is in the fruit bar then ordered a ridiculous drink like steamed skim milk with sugar free syrup etc... She complained about waiting through I think she was behind me, and I didnapos;t wait -that- long and when she got her drink she said apos;I wanted extra foam, but whateverapos; Oi. -_- I thought she was ridiculous and made a apos;Tehapos; sound which was apperantly loud because the girls beside me turned and stifled a giggle. Hopefully because they agreed sheapos;s crazy.
Because I had to wait the guy who took my order gave me a hand written note saying I get a free drink on him. ^_^ Other chick got nothing but people mad at her =p

Forgive me if this has already been addressed. If it has then just point me to the relevant thread. But as a healer Iapos;m wondering what the consolidation of +damage and +healing means to me. Prior to the patch I had approximately 1400 healing. Now Iapos;ve got around 660. Do I still have enough healing for things like Kara and Heroics or am I back to the drawing board in terms of building up my healing?

And a note on global warming: this is New York City in the middle of October. A meal in a succah should feature warm clothes, scarves, and grumbling about how this is a festival designed to be celebrated in Israel. Hallelujah As of this afternoon we have achieved solar permits, for both units even. It seems the mess is finally straightened out. *breathes a huge sigh of relief* Weapos;re finally ready to move forward on the project.

They should be starting work on Monday, October 27, and it will take about a week to get the hardware in place and then another week or two to get the City inspector out to put his stamp of approval on it. After that we await PGEapos;s pleasure for one of their guys to come out and inspect it themselves and then switch over to the new meters. Thatapos;s expected to be 3 or so weeks later. So it will go active just in time for the darkest time of the year. You have to admire my perfect timing sometimes, donapos;t you?

The only weird part of the schedule is that the last half of the week they are actually doing the work on the roof, Iapos;ll be out of town for my best friendapos;s wedding. My tenants will be around for the workmen and Iapos;ll be reachable by phone, but it still feels odd. This means that I wonapos;t be able to take the installation week as a pseudo-vacation to hang out at home since I already have been scheduled to take time off at the end of that week and into the next for the trip. I guess Iapos;ll take time off some other time.
